This is an excellent starter tool for any die room; and a great second machine when you have to notch large quantities of rule at a time. The Standard Notcher is designed to easily notch 2 pt. rule and can also notch rule up to 3 pt. thickness. For best results, keep your knives sharp.

Helmold recommends purchasing spare notch knives. This eliminates down time when sending dull knives out for sharpening.
